MOM6 diagnostic output doesn't have a bathymetry mask.

Hi Users,

I am running MOM6 in "Z*" coordinate.

The diagnostic outputs of the model doesn't show a bathymetric structure as in previous versions of MOM.

The land mask is the same for whole depths (from surface to the bottom). I didn't specify any flat bottom in MOM_input.

As a workaround I made a mask file from num_levels (kmt) and applied on to the output. But this is an extra step.

Is there any other option in MOM_input to have these bathymetry mask for respective depths? or am I doing something wrong?

Note: The remapping scheme I used is REMAPPING_SCHEME="PPM_H4". Does it have anything to do with it?

Native variables, listed in the diag_table under "ocean_model", are not masked in 3D. The remapped fields, e.g. under "ocean_model_z", are masked. See Diagnostics — MOM6 0.2a3 documentation to setup the remapped diagnostics.
