Hi Sir/Madam,
The model runs well with 26 levels but strange problem occurs when I try to add a 27th level in between the surface and the one over it. Variable like phimp appears to be NaN at some latitudes. When I change cpu numbers with MPI, the NaN lat also changed. With 2 cpus, only 1 and 25 th y grid in total 48 (T31) has NaN values. I configured with -nlev 27 and pointed the inic file to the one we created with 27 levels.
Attached is my run script on a sgi machine, namelist, and two output file with one of 16 cpus and the other of 2 cpus. The output at the end of the files are lon, lev, lat, and phimp.
Could you pls have a look and tell me what could be wrong? It would be highly appreciated if you can tell me the steps to add a layer.
Many thanks,
Tony
