Hi all,

I am trying to run a SSP585 case using the compset SSP585_DATM%GSWP3v1_CLM50%BGC-CROP_SICE_SOCN_SROF_SGLC_SWAV at 0.125x0.125 resolution over a regional scale. The domain file, fsurfdata and flanduse_timeseries data I used were extracted from 'domain.lnd.0.125x0.125_tx0.1v2.140704.nc', 'surfdata_0.125x0.125_78pfts_simyr2000_c151014.nc' and 'landuse.timeseries_0.9x1.25_SSP1-2.6_78pfts_CMIP6_simyr1850-2100_c190214.nc', respectively.

The error I got was 'error in vsize' (cesm log attached), and I wonder if it is related to the 0.9x1.25 landuse data? If it is, is there any suitable data for me to perform the simulation over 0.125 resolution? Or is there anyway to perform interpolation to the landuse data?

Thanks in advance.

If you are using a subset of the 0.9x1.25 landuse data and the dimensions don't match the surface dataset, then I expect you are right that this is related to your error. There isn't any standard way of interpolating the landuse data. You would need to create a 0.125x0.125 landuse dataset by using the mksurfdata_map tools.
