ncdata:Full pathname of initial atmospheric state dataset (NetCDF format).

Hi,

when I run CESM1_2_1 F2000 case with climatal sst forcing starting year at 0001, I found that my ncdata is atm/cam/inic/fv/cami_1987-01-01_0.9x1.25_L26_c060703.nc, but my friend's ncdata is atm/cam/inic/fv/cami_0000-01-01_1.9x2.5_L26_c070408.nc. How could that happens? And my runtype is startup.

Thank you for your replies.

Best wishes.

You friend is likely using another compset (or another version of cesm). The atmosphere spins up very fats and it should not matter if you use one or the other.

Actually I also think your friend is using a different resolution (fv1.9 vs. fv09)
