Hi folks, Recently, I created some boundary conditions (SST, ice_cov) from B compset for F compset. I followed the guide here and use the bcgen tool provided by NCAR to correct the SST and ice_cov. https://bb.cgd.ucar.edu/how-do-i-use-b-compset-history-output-create-sstice-data-files-drive-f-compsetHowever, after correction, I found the ice_cov in the climatology file has negative values and values exceeding 1. I expected this can be corrected in the model itself. I did two experiments (one with corrected ice_cov, one with raw output from bcgen) to test my hypothesis and unfortunately, I found model output from these two experiments are not the same! That means the negative ice coverage does matter in the model.Any thought on this? Shall we correct the ice_cov after bcgen? Best,CF
