No log files being written

Hello everyone.

I think I have been able to port CESM2.1 successfully as I am able to create, build, and submit cases on our supercomputer here.
I had created a test case with an aquaplanet using cam6 and submitted the job for an hour. I had switched short-term archiving (DOUT_S) to False. Peculiarly, even after the job was completed (or perhaps prematurely stopped as I can't see it in the queue any more), I'm neither able to see any log files nor any history files in the run directory of my case.

Any insight in this regard would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You should have a log file from the queing system in your case directory. If there are no logs at all in the run directory you should look there.
