Last month we released CESM 1.0.6, and today we have released CESM 1.2.2. It is highly recommended that all users use one of these two new versions when starting SC-WACCM runs. They have a number of fixes for problems in the default namelist, and some improvements to model stability.In addition, these two new versions of CESM contain the following new SC-WACCM compsets with active ocean:
- B1850WSCCN: all active components, pre-industrial, WACCM with specified chemistry, CLM with CN
- B55TRWSCCN: all active components, 1955 to 2005 transient, WACCM with specified chemistry and daily solar data, CLM with CN
- BRCP26WSCCN: all active components, RCP2.6 future scenario, WACCM with specified chemistry, CLM with CN
- BRCP45WSCCN: all active components, RCP4.5 future scenario, WACCM with specified chemistry, CLM with CN
- BRCP85WSCCN: all active components, RCP8.5 future scenario, WACCM with specified chemistry, CLM with CN
