OH is not in external forcing in MAM7

Hi evryone

I write because I have a doubt about how is considered the OH concentration  in trop_strat_mam7 chemical mechanism. In the default configuration OH is not in external forcing in the chem_mech.in, however I was looking the recent mecanis of mam4 and in this mechanism OH is an external forcing species and happen the same for waccam. So I wonder if the OH concentration in trop_strat_mam7 it is correct or not?
