PFTs for an LGM Simulation?

Hi all,

Is there an accessible dataset of PFTs for a last glacial maximum simulation? Looking for the vegetation data one would use to create the mksrf files, and eventually the surface dataset (surfdata).

Hello,

Which version of CLM are you using?

Assuming you have access to Cheyenne, you can use this file to generate surfdata for CLM4
/glade/p/cesmdata/cseg/inputdata/lnd/clm2/rawdata/pftlandusedyn.0.5x0.5.simyr1850-2005.c090630/mksrf_landuse_rc1850_c090630.nc

You can use this file for CLM5
/glade/p/cesm/cseg/inputdata/lnd/clm2/rawdata/pftcftdynharv.0.25x0.25.LUH2.simyrPtVg.c181106/mksrf_landuse_potvegclm50_LUH2.c181106.nc

Hi there,

Thanks for this response. I use CESM1.1.1. I don't have access to Cheyenne - if I'm at a different institution (Harvard), how can I access these files / gain access to Cheyenne?
