Hi, I am new to CESM forum and trying to run CESM on a new local machine. I am following the introductions of Chapter 5 of the CESM User's Guide (CESM 1.2) and got some problems with the port validation for the ERI-testcases. The TestStatus is always FAIL, because the history-file of the "true restart continue run” doesn’t match the history file of the “hybrid run”. Using the default settings the history file for the “true restart continue run” not even exists. So I changed the timings for HIST_N, STOP_N and REST_N several times in the tescase.test-script, but never managed to match both history files. I would really appreciate some help. And I am also not very sure, how important it actually is to pass all the testcases. I would be also thankfull for an answer to that.I attached the TestStatus.out-file.
