post processing of AMIP runs

Dear All:I have doing some AMIP runs from 1979 to 2014, Runs are running fine. Now i would like to make time series (single variable) similar to what generally found in /proc/tseries directory.I was wondering if there is some tool or script to do it.I highly appreciate your sggestions in this regard.Thanks-SK
