problem running cam 4 on f19_f19 on more than 8 processors

Hi, I used CAM 4 on a T42 grid before and had no problem scaling the model to various numbers of processors. However when running the finite volume core on the f19_f19 grid, I am only able to get the model running with 8 processors, all other pes outlines crash (12,16,24,32,48). Is there a way to run on this grid with a larger amount of processors?
