Problem running standalone CLM5.0 on hcru grid

hello,

I'm trying to run CLM5.0 on a 0.5 degrees grid for the period around 2000

the case is created with options --res hcru_hcru --compset I2000Clm50BgcCrop --run-unsupported

I succesfully generated the surfdata map data with the command ./mksurfdata.pl -res 360x720cru -years 2000

The initialization of the model starts fine but then it stops with the following output >>>

I tried with a cold start, but I'm getting the same outcome

Is this related to some common issue? Could you please help me?

hi Keith,

thanks for the answer! I was using 32 processors that in my case works for the f09 grid. I increased till 192 but the simulation stops at the same point... do you think I still have to increase more or there is something else?

With release-cesm2.1.3, I was able to run for one year with 1836 processors (71 model years/wall-clock day).
I've attached my env_mach_pes.xml file.
I also created a surface dataset using mksurfdata.pl.
Otherwise, everything in my simulation is out of the box.
What version of cesm/clm are you using?
Your traceback indicates line 269 of LakeTemperatureMod.F90 has a problem. Is there a clue there?
