Hello experts,
I am working on creating my own domain and surface files at a very fine resolution for a regional area. I have followed the instructions from earlier threads as well as the CTSM User Guide to do so.
I started by creating the scrip grid file using mkscripgrid.ncl, and then I used mkmapdata to generate the map files. Everything is working fine, and I am successfully generating 16 files. However, I am consistently unable to generate one specific file: "1km-merge-10min_HYDRO1K-merge-nomask".
There are no error messages or warnings displayed during the process, and I am left waiting with no output. This issue has occurred every time I attempt to run the process.

Could anyone suggest if there’s something I might be missing or if there’s a potential issue causing this? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Could be a memory problem, particularly since the problematic Source file is a 1-km global grid. There should be a "PET" log file that might give you more information about the error.

Hello Keith,
Thank you for the information. It was the memory issue; now it is solved, and successfully generated map files.
