qsub error

Hi, I'm new to using CESM and I just tried to run to submit my case for CESM 1.2.1 on Janus for an intel compiler and I'm getting this error: qsub: cannot connect to server (null) (errno=1) Operation not permitted
ERROR: cesm_submit problem sourcing templar
Any ideas what this might be?

Hi Alex,Janus did not prove to be a stable enough environment for us to maintain CESM support.  If you want to run on that machine the best thing for you to do is to treat it as an unknown machine and do a full port to it.   You should start with 1.2.2 Jim
