Question about building iCESM

Hi, this is probably a very basic question but I am interested in using iCESM in my research. When it comes to building the model, do I follow the same instructions for CESM? i.e.do I follow the steps in the CIME documentation?

Hi Tim,
There's pretty detailed instructions on how to build and run iCESM in the GitHub repository with the code. Here's a link: NCAR/iCESM1.2

Basically, the answer to your question is: You will use the CIME build and run scripts (case.build and case.submit), but only after doing all of the configuration needed to set up the isotopes, as outlined in the instructions above. I would follow the instructions linked above and not just the CIME documentation for these experiments.
