HiWith WACCM (CESM1.2.2), I'd like to run an aquaplanet experiment with date fixed on 20000115. I create my own compset:2000_CAM4%WCCM_SLND_SICE_AQUAP_SROF_SGLC_SWAV, but it doesn't work. Therefore, I set the timestep very small and run for a few days, then I write a new initial condition file and start from that with the default timestep. This time, it runs well. My problems are:1 If there any thing wrong with my method? Though, I have checked the output datas, and the datas seem correct.2 I want to change the fixed date of the aquaplanet experiment, but as I konw, the perpetual_ymd option is ignored in aquaplanet experiment. How can I change the fixed date?3 I've tried to add solar_data_type = 'FIXED' and solar_data_ymd = 20000115 to the CAM namelist with user_nl_cam file, and add orb_iyear = 2000 and orb_iyear_align = 2000 to the CPL namelist with user_nl_cpl file. However, after calling preview_namelists, I could see the cam namelist changes in /CaseDocs/atm_in, but there were no changes in the drv_in file. It seems like the namelists in the user_nl_cpl file didn't work. I want to konw is there anything wrong with my user_nl_cpl file? Thanks in advance!xin
