Questions about the lon/lat information for output variables

Hi,<br /><br />I have the CESM run with resolution 0.9x1.25<br /><br />I'm wondering are the latitudes and longitudes in 'lat' and 'lon of the variables the centers of the grid boxes <br />(i.e. T(lat, lon))? or are they the edges between grid boxes?<br /><br />Thanks
