RCP8.5 MOAR initialization

Greetings all,I have a question about the initialization for the RCP8.5 Ensemble member #6 (MOAR) run (b40.rcp8_5.1deg.007). In looking at http://www.cesm.ucar.edu/experiments/cesm1.0/, it says that this run was initialized from the b40.20th.track1.1deg.011 20th-century run. However, the output from no such case exists publicly -- the only references I find to it on the ESG say that it was erroneous and the results retracted. Was the b40.20th.track1.1deg.012 MOAR run a replacement for 011, and if so, is the initialization that would be provided by 012 equivalent to that provided by 011? I have already performed a WRF downscaling run forced by the 012 run and would like to continue it with the RCP8.5 data, but want to make sure that the forcing data is continuous between b40.20th.track1.1deg.012 and b40.rcp8_5.1deg.007.- Jeremy

Case b40.rcp8_5.1deg.006 was started from model year 2005-01-01 of b40.20th.track1.1deg.011 (the "bad" case which had a few instantaneous rather than time averaged output variables).Case b40.rcp8_5.1deg.007 was started from model year 2005-01-01 of b40.20th.track1.1deg.012 (the correction for the b40.20th.track1.1deg.011 case). This is, hence, the correction for the b40.rcp8_5.1deg.006 case.

Ok, thank you mai! I guess the original description on the model output page hadn't been updated, which is what caused the confusion. It looks like it's fixed now.
