Regarding data (nc file) process tool

Dear CESM USER,

I am new to use this CESM (cesm1_2_2) and exploring things as spending time to learn and understand.

Can anyone suggest? which tool is good for processing data for a learner/ beginner user.

I looking for a tool that helps to make changes in NC file and create a new NC file for the same. Is any material available? if yes please share the relevant sources so I can get more details which can help me out to solve the problem.

And which tool is suitable for this. Please let me know.

You can Google "python NetCDF" to see a lot of information for how to work with these files.
