Removing land in CAM simulation fv dycore

Hi,I am trying to make a simulation by changing the American continental shelf to ocean. But the simulations are not correct as per my expections.I have made changes to "cam/inputdata/atm/cam/topo/USGS-gtopo30_0.9x1.25_remap_c051027.nc" , "cam/inputdata/atm/cam/ocnfrac/domain.camocn.0.9x1.25_gx1v6_090403.nc"  and "cam/inputdata/share/domains/domain.lnd.fv0.9x1.25_gx1v6.090309.nc".I want to convert a land area to ocean area in the actual planet conditions for fv dycore.Do I need to change any more files? Please guide me in this regard.Thanking for kind help.

CSEG and Liaisons
I'd try posting to the land BB.  CAM isn't responsible for telling CLM where the land is.  CLM has a number of input datasets which I'd guess need to be modified.  Also, the folks who do paleo runs have experience with this sort of thing.

Hi,Sorry if I have not been clear. I want to run a CAM simulation where the modification is required. I think changes to the boundary condition is needed for removing land portion by ocean.
