Replace the emission data file with my own emission data file

Hello !!!
I am using the CESM2.1.3 BHIST -res f09_mg17 working on simulating the Impacts of pollutant emissions on climate,I want to change replace the BC emission data file with my own emission data file.My question is that dose I just need to replace the /inputdata/atm/cam/chem/emis/CMIP6_emissions_1750_2015/emissions-cmip6_bc_a4_anthro_surface_1750-2015_0.9x1.25_c20170608.nc with my own emission file?I noticed there are same question but I don't know exactly what to do.

Any suggestions will be helpful!
