Resolution_Problem

Hello,
I am new at CESM.I am using CESM 2.1.3 CLM. I have completed a one year monthly simulation in my local pc with default resolution with the compset I2000Clm50FatesCruGs. But facing problem while running with 0.5 degree resolution.


If the problem is with surface data , can anyone suggest from where I can download the data.

Right, the 0.47x0.63 resolution isn't supported out of the box with that version of the code. But you should be able to find a surface dataset here that you can add to your user_nl_clm:

- Revision 70326: /trunk/inputdata/lnd/clm2/surfdata_map

Just Fyi, the supported release code is release-cesm2.1.5

So, if I install CESM 2.1.5, I will be able to run at 0.5-degree resolution with the source dataset at 0.47x0.63 resolution?
Without changing the version, can it be possible to run with 0.5 resolution by changing the gird or dataset?
