resubmission does not work

Hi,    I am now running CCSM4 amip run on yellowstone. The problem I have is that when I run a continuous run the "resubmission" does work. I made several modifications in env_run.xml:**********    In this case, the job was done after 6 months, but later I got an email saying that the job exited. Then I checked the file env_run.xml, the "resubmission" becomes 10. It seems that the model can be done successfully for only the first 6 months, but later on it exited.    I also tried to run the model with resubmission=0 and submit the job manually, this time the job can be done successfully. So I am curious why resubmission does not work for my case. Thank you very much. Appreciated for any suggestions.
