Run the CLM with prescribed Snow Water Equivalent (SWE)

Hi:I am Dan Cao from China.I want to research about the atmospheric response to the prediscribed snow forcing now. By imposing the SWE in the CLM, we conpare the atmospheric response to the snow forcing with the control run's.There are lots of codes under the /lnd. I don't konw where to start.Any advises?Thank you.
