Running 0.5 degree POP

Hi all, I am looking to work on 0.5 degree ocean simulation. However none of the supported grids mentioned in the website support 0.5 degree ocean simulation with active POP. Is there a grid that supports active ocean on 0.5 degree grid or should I move to a higher resolution then?
