Hi,
I've been trying to run the BSSP245 compset on CESM2.1.3 to generate climate model output for this scenario. After the run's completion, we've noticed some unusual behavior. The global average of TREFHT has a sharp rise in the first 5 year and then seems to plateau with a lot of interannual variability. Looking at the CO2 tracers in CAM, the global average CO2 decreases with time (with an annual cycle), which seems odd. When we look at the log files, we can't find where CESM is including the SSP370 forcing files. So, where should I look to see that the SSP/RCP forcing files are being loaded into the simulations. Also, are the CO2 tracers/fields in CAM the best place to look to monitor the evolution of CO2?
Thanks,
Rob
