running SCAM from command line

Hi,
When running SCAM from the command line, is it possible to create the "startupfile" without the GUI? If so, where to start...?

I think that is hard to do as it is wired into the QT ghui code somewhat. Is it not possible to create a number of startup files using the GHUI then use those in a number of runs without the ghui?
