Over the last three weeks, with help and data from George Carr, I
ran a 100-year branch restart of T31_gx3v5 on 18 processors of
an SGI Altix 3700. I'm appending the note I received from George,
in turn forwarded from Bill Collins.
CCSM3 was built using the Intel ifort 8.1.024 and icc 8.1.028
compilers, applying *no* compiler-required workarounds, but
with a few bug fixes and a performance enhancement to the
CAM timing routines.
Write me if you need more information.
Saludos,
Gerardo
