Shutting Off Shortwave Absorption

Hello,

I'm trying to shut off SW absorption by the atmosphere in subroutine radcswmx of the file radsw.F90 in CAM (I'm actually playing with the SCAM). Basically I want to let SW be reflected by the atmosphere, but not absorbed (except at the surface, which I want to stay how it is).

Does anyone know what the best way to do this is?

Thanks!

Dorian

Well to be precise this place would have been considered an information storehouse for people who are dealing with these subjects but then after getting to see the various sections I find that most of the questions that are asked by people go unanswered! Why should this be? I am also looking for many such queries to be answered but then it requires someone to respond to them too.
