soil saturated thermal conductivity

It is said that when soil temperature is >= freezing point, the saturated thermal conductivity is only related to the thermal conductivity of dry solid and water, and porosity.

However, the phase change of soil water occurs at freezing point. So it is possible that 90 percent of soil water is in the form of ice, at the same time soil temperature is at zero degC.

If use the above algorithm to calculate saturated thermal conductivity at zero degC, no ice information is included.
