SST file for CAM run

Hello,

I would like to run CAM6 with SST data, which include 2021.

I found SST data up to 2020 from

https://svn-ccsm-inputdata.cgd.ucar.edu/trunk/inputdata/atm/cam/sst/

sst_HadOIBl_bc_1.9x2.5_1850_2020_c210521.nc.

Could you let me know how I can obtain or make SST data for year 2021, and for 0.9x1.25 resolution?

We need a 3 month buffer to compute the SSTs. For that reason, we usually update the SSTs sometimes in April when the data are available up to the month of March.

We plan to update the CVCWG simulations with prescribed observation-based SSTs out to the end of 2021 in early April once the SSTs become available. They currently run to April 2021. Note that these simulations use ERSSTv5 as opposed to the default out of the box SSTs. For more information, see CESM Climate Variability & Change Working Group
