start time

Hi, everyone:I am wondering if there is a way to set the start time. I carried out my model run and the default start time is year 1, 0001. Can I start running any time I want, e.g, 2013-05-27?Thanks for answering my question.

In principle, you can start from any tiem you want but you need to provide initial conditions consistent with your starting time. For instance, you can use the January 1 initial condition to start on  2013-05-27. Your January initial condition will have snow covered aera not consistent with your starting date.
