Stomatal resistence

Hi
I am off-line CLM simulation over the U.S.  My output of stomatal resistence (both Shaded leaf and sunlit leaf) seems to be too high. Over the Mid-Atlantic area, it get 2000 s/m for both.   Over the Colorado, the value gets 14000 s/m.    Compared to stomatal resistance, aerodynamic resistence is much smaller (almost 1/10 of stomatal).  I just try to compute potential evapotranspiration (PET) using Penman-Monteith equation;   and need aerodynamic and stomatal resistence.  With these outputs, PET gets crazy.    I wonder if I miss anything for getting right stomatal resistence.  Thanks,
