Hi there,

does anyone know where I might find more information on how a certain history tape variable is calculated? I want to look at storm track activity and think that the variable to use is meridional flux of zonal momentum or VU, but I am more familiar as seeing this called eddy flux..... is it the same thing?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,
