Dear all.
I recently learned about a sub-seasonal forecasting project that has conducted ensemble predictions with CESM1(CAM5) and CESM2(CAM6) in succession. I find this aspect of their work particularly intriguing. Could anyone let me know which composets were used for each model?

I think these simulations used the BHIST compset. However, that won't run the seasonal hindcasts out of the box. That just sets up a transient historical simulation and then the start date, ocean, sea ice, land and atmosphere initial conditions will need to be set separately through namelist settings.
