Surface wind speed 6 hourly for CCSM4 last millennium

Hi there,
for our windtracking algorithm, we need the surface wind speed data from the CCSM4 1° Last Millennium 850-1850 simulation with a 6 hourly time resolution. Is there a way to download this data?
Thanks for your help,

Thomas

I just now saw your message - sorry for the late reply. We didn't save any 6-hourly data from the 850-1850 simulation, so we don't have the data you want. Sorry.

Hi ThomasWe have recently completed a 1° last millennium simulation with CESM (physics are identical to CCSM4) with 12-hourly output (U, V, SLP, TREFHT, PRECC, PRECL) that we are happy to share. If you are intersted in the output please contact me under lehner@climate.unibe.chBest regards,Flavio
