svn list and svn co issues

Dear All:Maybe because it has been a long while since I checked out a version last time, I can't remember how it works and can't figure out. I followed the User's guide and "svn list" on Yellowstone, it prompted for Password. Then I entered some easy combination that I always use three times, but I got rejected. Here is what I've got:--------------------[jihwang@yslogin5 ~]$ svn list https://svn-ccsm-release.cgd.ucar.edu/model_versionsAuthentication realm: ccsm:releasePassword for 'jihwang':Authentication realm: ccsm:releaseUsername: jihwangPassword for 'jihwang':Authentication realm: ccsm:releaseUsername: jihwangPassword for 'jihwang':svn: OPTIONS of 'https://svn-ccsm-release.cgd.ucar.edu/model_versions': authorization failed: Could not authenticate to server: rejected Basic challenge (https://svn-ccsm-release.cgd.ucar.edu)-------------------- I thought I could just enter any password, and it would be stored in cache. Did I do anything wrong here?Thanks for the help in advance.

I registered in order to download CESM again, and found out the password.As for CESM2.0.0, I guess it's not ready for the public yet.

Could you please tell me how did you figure it out? I have the same problem. As for username, re we supposed to type "guestuser" or our own username? And for password, I have no idea what kind of password it should be. Thanks!Melody

Hi, Melody:I don't remember the details, but I believe all you need to do is to register. After you register, you'll get instruction for username and password, which are the same for every register user.Best Regards,Aaron
