the differences between BHIST and BHISTcmip6

Hi,
I'm going to run some time-varying coupled runs. I have a general question about the difference between the compsets with and without 'cmip6' postfix (BHIST vs BHISTcmip6).

Case information of the cmip6 runs shows that there are some modifications appropriate for CMIP6 DECK experiments in CLM and CICE components. So I guess the forcings (CO2, aerosol, et al.) are identical, right? I'm wondering what the impacts are. For example, is there a difference in the sea ice outputs between BHIST and BHISTcmip6 (or BSSP370 vs BSSP370cmip6)? which one would produce higher sea ice?

Thanks,
Pengfei
