The input data means what?

Dear all,
I am confused with the meaning of the input data. How the climatological datasets were created? The dataset cami_0000-09-01_64x128_T42_USGS_c030918 means the date was 0000-09-01, or cami_0000-01-01_1.9x2.5_L26_c070408.nc means the date was 0000-01-01, but the year 0000 means what? And the sst data
sst_HadOIBl_bc_1.9x2.5_clim_c061031.nc was given as a climatological dataset, does it means 1950-1999 long time average, or any time else?
Any body can help me?
Best regards.

The year 0000 in the date fields generally implies that the data is from a climatological run. The climatology isn't specified in the cami names because it isn't significant for most purposes. Unless you're doing a run with prognostic chemistry of long lived species, the atmosphere state will spin up in just a few weeks.

The climatology SST dataset you mention is averaged over the 20 year period of 1982-2001.
