The output variable of "TS" in CAM

I have a question about the output variable of "TS" in CAM. When I check the output file use the command of "ncdump -h", I found the longname of "TS" is "Surface temperature (radiative)". Does it means "the land surface temperature" or "the near surface air temperature (2m above the land surface)".

Appreciate for any help

"TS" is defined to be the surface temperature as computed by the radiative fluxes in that gridcell.

TREFHT is the 2m reference height temperature as Isla notes.
