Time coordinate of datm data

Hi all,
I not clear on the definition of the time coordinate of the climate forcing data of CLM4 in CESM. For example, there are eight data points per day for 3-hourly data. The corresponding time bounds are 0~3, 3~6..., 21~0. Is the time coordinate for CLM4 (0, 3, 6 ...), or (1.5, 4.5, 7.5 ...) or (3, 6, 9 ...)? Thank you.

To avoid giving you the wrong response, I will recommend that you obtain the answer by conducting the following test:

At every single timestep write to clm history the variables that come from datm. Then you can determine the correspondence between time bounds and time steps.
