Hi, I am using cesm2.2.0 to simulate time series lnd output from 1980 to 2024, with reference from oleson's post (Some question about spin up).
Firstly, using 1850_DATM%GSWP3v1_CLM50%BGC-CROP_SICE_SOCN_MOSART_SGLC_SWAV compset to obtain restart file, startup type run and setting 20 years spin-up from 1960 to 1980, run started from 1978 and end with 2 years.

Then, using HIST_DATM%GSWP3v1_CLM50%BGC-CROP_SICE_SOCN_MOSART_SGLC_SWAV case with hybrid run from 1980-01-01 to 2014-12-31, set finidat = '**.clm2.r.*' (restart file from last case), setting spin-up from 1980 to 2014.
Finally, using SSP_DATM%GSWP3v1_CLM50%BGC-CROP_SICE_SOCN_MOSART_SGLC_SWAV with hybrid run from 2015-01-01 to 2024-12-31.
