unsorted double linked list corrupted

Hi,

I’m running a CTSM/CLM spinup case and I’m getting repeated crashes near the end of a 10-year chunk.

What I see is:

• lnd.log looks normal and reaches restart writing
• restart files are written successfully
• then cesm.logcrashes with:
  • corrupted double-linked list
  • malloc(): unsorted double linked list corrupted
  • repeated Program received signal SIGABRT: Process abort signal also checked that:
    • this is not showing up as a normal CLM physics error in <span>lnd.log</span>
    • the crash seems to happen near or after finalization, not during the main land-model calculations

Has anyone seen this before in CTSM/CLM continuation runs?

does somebody has any idea and solution or guidance. thanks in advance
