Dear all,
Is there any method that we can use the MODIS LAI data in CLM_SP mode.
CLM only needs the monthly LAI data. MODIS provides the LAI data every 4 days.
The first choice maybe the data assimilation, but I think we only can use the data assimilation of LAI in CLM_CN mode. But CLM_CN mode needs more spin-up time. So I want do the data assimilation of LAI in CLM_SP mode.
I have tried to replace the LAI in the initial file of CLM_SP, but it does not impact the model results.
Am I right?
