Hi, can someone please explain to me the benefit of vegetation models over prescribed, 'static' vegetation as I have always thought that even prescribed vegetation still interacts with the world and would hence provide feedbacks. Also most runs only go over 100 years or so so changing vegetation types probably is not such a big issue...

any thoughts?
