Vertical water transport

Hi,

I'm wondering if CLM outputs any variable related to vertical water transport. Like the water flux from 1m to 1.5 m layer? Besides that, the sub surface water runoff QDRAI has only one layer, how can I distinguish the amount of water runoff from different soil depths?

Best,

Jinmu

The clm user's guide has a list of history variables. And even better, your lnd.log file should include such a list. If you don't see what you want, you can add it to the code yourself. It's usually easier if you pick another vertically resolved variable to follow as a template.
