Virtual memory requirements

I am planning to port CESM to an HPC system and the system.The system administrators are asking me what are CESM's requirements for virtual memory. I understand that this might depend on resolution and components in each specific case. I was wondering if anyone could provide a range of virtual memory requirements for CESM. I could not find this information in the documentation.
