Hello, I am intending to run a simulation using CESM1.2.2 for WACCM, but I don't need the Mesosphere and Thermosphere. Is it possible to  turn off the Mesospheric and Thermospheric processes, if yes, which file should I modify and how to do? thanks!

Thanks for your repply.
Sorry for one more questions, now I want to run a volcanic forcing case using F1850W, is the sad_file in the cherm_inparm the noly file need to change? In this file, the surface area density of stratospheric aerosols is prescribed, but I want to change the volcanic forcing by changing the volcanic injection height, location and the amount of SO2. Is it impossible? If yes, how and where to change the volcanic focring factor? Can you give me a example? Thanks!

CESM1 uses prescribed stratospheric aerosols. In CESM1(WACCM), these are prescribed in the sad_file. Prognostic volcanic aerosols derived from SO2 emissions will be supported in CESM2(WACCM), which will be released mid-2017.

Thanks!I am using the CESM1.2.2(WACCM) and runuing F1850W. But in the sad_file, 'Time dependent sulfate SAD, 1850-2100; includes Krakatau,Santa Maria,Agung' was found in the ncdisp, Does that mean the EI Chichon(1982) and Mount Pinatubo(1991) was not included? After a long contral running, if I want to change the volcanic forcing as Mount Pinatubo(1991), how can I modify?
