Warming rather than cooling over the last millennium using CESM-LME

Hello,

We are trying to reproduce the CESM LME 850-1849 runs. We followed the instructions here: https://www2.cesm.ucar.edu/projects/community-projects/LME/LME.850-1849.B1850C5CN.pdf, downloaded all the forcings files listed here: Instructions | Community Earth System Model. And integrated the CESM model using version 1.1.2 on our local cluster. The model runs smoothly (including the editing of the user_nl_clm every 250 years). However, we do not get the same climate evolution as in CESM LME, instead we get warming rather cooling over the last millennium. I am attaching a figure with the GMST evolution.

Any ideas on where this bias might be coming from?

Thank you,
Rei
